Neon Glow Effect

In the above image, can you locate where is neon glow? Well I think most of you can’t, but let me tell you, can you see that blue effect behind photoshop stuff? That is the NEON GLOW EFFECT.

So here is the tutorial:

Neon lights on a dark night or a relatively less bright atmosphere looks great to the naked eyes.

So set the screen to black and try painting with any colour (for this particular excercise we have set the colour to pale blue).

Set the Brush Tip shape to Dual Brush (Select the brush tool and press F5 and change the tip) and set the size of the brush to 17 approximately.

Make sure to switch on the wet edges option.

How To Change Background Colour

How To Change Background Colour

Lets say, I like the text and whatever image it is, but I dont like the background, and to change it first I would look for psd file, but I can’t find it anywhere, in that case the followings steps have to be followed:

Step-1: Open the file with photoshop.

Step-2 Unlock the background layer by double clicking it.

Step-3 Go to Image>Adjustments>Selective Colour.

Step-4 Select black colour (as background is of black colour in the image) there on the top.

Step-5 If you want a:

a) Red Background then decrease the Value Of Cyan.

b) Green Background then decrease the Value Of Magenta.

c) Blue Background then decrease the Value Of Yellow.

d) White Background then decrease the Value Of Black.

e) Some other backround then try playing with the values of all the colours.

Similarly you can change the colour of the text,

Step-1: Open the file with photoshop.

Step-2 Unlock the background layer by double clicking it.

Step-3 Go to Image>Adjustments>Selective Colour.

Step-4 Select red colour (as text is of red colour in the image) there on the top.

Do remember STEP 4 is the most important step…!
